This is a full-time role for an Epic Application Analyst Sr. specializing in Epic Professional Coding. The position is within the Enterprise Corporate - Revenue Cycle Applications department. The role involves designing and developing solutions for business needs, assisting with conversion and operational support, managing training, and identifying how requirements affect multiple application areas. The analyst will act independently, understand client business requirements, offer alternatives, and work as an integration point between design teams. They will perform analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance functions, acting as a resource for assigned applications, and providing support and troubleshooting. Communication with users regarding complex project requirements, system functioning, and potential impacts on data, workflow, and functionality is key. The role serves as a liaison between the business community and IT, requiring expertise in clinical service lines and IT systems. Negotiation and agreement facilitation between business units and IT are also part of the responsibilities. The analyst will also evaluate vendor offerings and analyze business operations to identify automation opportunities, assist with business process redesign, and prepare project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordination of system development, implementation, operation, and maintenance, including application design, development, testing, documentation, and performance monitoring, is expected. The goal is to assure maximum system availability and data integrity, and to coordinate the development of reports, queries, forms, and screens to meet user needs.
