This role works with users and leadership to develop and/or modify procedures due to workflow process changes related to Epic clinical and business application use. The analyst will explain the functioning of assigned Epic applications and related systems to users, assist users with using the full functionality of the applications, and prepare input for requirements definition, including user procedures, flowcharts, and preliminary report and screen definitions. They will also assist in the development of effective testing through execution and tracking of problem reports, work with users to set priorities for requests, and assist with impact analysis. Documentation of current workflows, specifications, user manuals, procedures, and other relevant information is a key responsibility. The role involves participating in testing, user training, and results evaluation, tracking standardized projects, and monitoring post-implementation problems. Identifying ongoing application system issues and communicating patterns to Sr./Lead Application Product Analysts, maintaining product documentation, and assisting with communication of project status and upgrades are also part of the role. The analyst will develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the supported Epic applications' operations, assist with application version upgrades, and participate in the maintenance, enhancement, and interface of assigned applications, as well as troubleshoot and resolve user problems.
