The EPI Group and Family Therapist, reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, is part of a multi-disciplinary team and provides comprehensive group psychoeducation and group therapy services to clients and families in the designated areas of the EPI Program. This role also provides education, consultation, and intervention to families and caregivers of clients receiving services from the EPI Program, including assessment, short-term treatment, consultation, and follow-up services. The therapist formulates and implements family intervention plans in collaboration with the EPI Central Team and community EPI Clinicians, and educates clients, families, and healthcare professionals about early psychosis and group/family therapy. Additionally, the role involves delivering in-services, presentations, and initiating/developing/carrying out evaluation and research activities.
