About The Position

The EP Team Lead provides hands-on leadership and operational oversight for a team supporting essential enterprise or functional processes. This role is responsible for day-to-day execution, workload coordination, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of services. The EP Team Lead plays a key role in driving consistency, process adherence, and continuous improvement while serving as a point of escalation and support for team members. This position offers the opportunity to lead people, influence outcomes, and contribute directly to operational excellence within DePuy Synthes. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months , subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be , regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business , Operations, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Typically requires 6–8 years of relevant professional experience, including people leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams in a matrixed or regulated environment.
  • Strong operational planning, execution, and resource management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross ‑ functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of compliance, quality systems, and process discipline.
  • Strong communication , coaching, and performance management skills.
  • English proficiency

  • Advanced degree or relevant professional training preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated or matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems or functional tools relevant to the team’s scope.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of the EP team to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team-level operational issues, escalations, and questions.
  • Monitor workload, performance, and service levels, adjusting priorities as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, policies, and quality requirements.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and management to align on priorities and deliverables.
  • Prepare or contribute to reports, metrics, and updates related to team performance.
