About The Position

Responsibilities Seve as clinical expert providing education, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and electrophysiology department staff. Serves as change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinical care in the performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures, maintaining all EP Lab equipment, and administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing basic and advanced level electrophysiology support during invasive cardiac procedures. Qualifications Education Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required or Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology training program Required or Graduate of an accredited program in Cardiac Electrophysiology Required Work Experience 4 years EP experience Required Licenses and Certifications RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Required or RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Preferred or IBHRE - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Preferred RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist If RCIS, candidate must obtain RCES within 180 Days Required BCLS - Basic Life Support Required ACLS Required Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Atlanta Hospital

Requirements

  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist If RCIS, candidate must obtain RCES within 180 Days Required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
  • ACLS Required

Nice To Haves

  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Preferred or IBHRE - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Preferred
