About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking Secret-Cleared Environmental Test Technicians in Wayne, New Jersey for an approximately five-month onsite temporary role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will perform environmental testing and stress screening on aerospace and defense hardware by operating thermal and vibration test equipment, executing established test protocols, collecting test data, and maintaining accurate laboratory documentation.

Requirements

High school diploma, trade school diploma, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of electronic technology acquired through advanced study of up to two years.
Experience supporting environmental test laboratory operations.
Experience with thermal and vibration testing.
Ability to operate and monitor environmental test chambers.
Experience executing established test procedures and accurately collecting test data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate test logs and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple testing activities and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to support laboratory operations in a 24/7 testing environment.
Experience maintaining laboratory equipment to support uninterrupted testing operations.
U.S. citizenship required.
Active Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor environmental test chambers used to simulate extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Perform vibration testing and other environmental stress-screening activities.
Execute established test protocols on aerospace and defense hardware.
Collect, record, and verify test data.
Maintain detailed laboratory, equipment, and test logs.
Monitor laboratory systems and support continuous test operations.
Manage multiple test jobs and priorities simultaneously.
Maintain laboratory equipment and identify issues that could disrupt testing.
Support paperless test documentation and recordkeeping processes.
Follow applicable test procedures, quality requirements, and compliance standards.
