DAYTON-GRANGER, INC. (DG) is a third-generation family-owned aerospace manufacturer in Fort Lauderdale, FL that has been proudly operating for almost 83 years. We design, test, and manufacture aircraft antennas, electrostatic dischargers, and lightning protection components used on commercial, military, and private aircraft around the world. We have an average employee tenure of 8 years, reflecting our stability and strong company culture. As an Environmental Test Engineer I, you’ll build hands-on experience in aerospace testing and qualification while working directly in DG’s environmental test lab. Rather than focusing on traditional product design, you’ll learn to operate specialized equipment that puts aerospace products through real-world environmental conditions - including vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, altitude, fluid exposure, and more - to evaluate how they perform. You’ll set up and conduct tests, collect and document data, identify and communicate issues or failures to the engineering team, and progressively take greater ownership of the lab and its testing activities. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career engineer who is technically curious, enjoys hands-on problem solving, and wants to build a specialized career in aerospace testing. DG will provide training on our equipment, qualification processes, and applicable aerospace testing standards.
