Responsibilities include managing parts washer solvent machines, providing technical assistance for hazardous waste compliance, and supporting emergency spill response. The position also involves maintaining solvent machine inventory, distilling used solvent, performing maintenance, and assisting with hazardous waste storage facilities. Additionally, the technician will obtain product samples for analysis, ensure environmental compliance for solvent distillation operations, conduct environmental pre-clearance inspections, brief rotational units on environmental concerns, and provide environmental compliance support and training.
