About The Position

PSI, an Intertek company, is searching for an Environmental Technician I to join their Building & Construction team in their Harrisburg, PA office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the environmental, engineering, and construction industry. The Building & Construction team provides assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services and building science solutions to deliver Total Quality Assurance to the built environment, offering the environmental, engineering, and construction industry a full suite of capabilities both in the lab and on site.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Must be able to read and understand scope of work / work plans
• Must be able to work off shifts and overtime
• Must be able to travel overnight 50% of the time (required)
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record (required)

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree or 2-Year Technical Degree preferred
• Experience in environmental consulting services is preferred but not required
• City of Philadelphia Asbestos License(s) a plus
• Onsite Subsurface Investigation oversight is a plus
• Asbestos and Industrial Hygiene experience and license is a plus

• Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Surveys
• Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Abatement Monitoring
• Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Clearance Sampling
