About The Position

This part-time role focuses on maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The team member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in finding products, and handle trash and floor cleaning according to approved procedures. Responsibilities include moving equipment and products for cleaning, preparing cleaning solutions, and deep cleaning key areas like bathrooms and breakrooms to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The role also involves maintaining cleaning equipment, notifying supervisors of supply needs, and taking initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks. Additionally, the team member will maintain positive interactions, project a positive image, and serve as a role model. Other duties may include providing checkout services, handling cash, enrolling customers in rewards programs, assisting with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck unloading and stocking, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Deep clean key areas of the store including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
