Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with fuel systems or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of fuel storage systems, fuel handling procedures, and safety practices.
- Ability to operate pumps, filtration systems, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding environments when required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of fuel storage tanks and associated systems.
- Conduct fuel polishing services to remove water, sludge, contaminants, and microbial growth from stored fuel.
- Inspect tanks, pumps, filters, and related equipment for operational issues and safety concerns.
- Operate specialized cleaning, filtration, and fuel transfer equipment safely and effectively.
- Collect and document fuel samples, maintenance activities, and service records.
- Follow environmental, safety, and hazardous material handling procedures during all operations.
- Assist with tank inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors, customers, and site personnel regarding scheduled services and findings.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe working condition.
- Respond to service calls and support emergency maintenance activities as needed.
