About The Position
To perform general daily cleaning and supplying patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices; daily cleaning of floors in corridors and other assigned areas to provide an environmentally safe and clean atmosphere in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates applicable knowledge of supplies/equipment used in Environmental Services Department.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or GED Preferred
- Housekeeping or related field experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform general daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, and offices.
- Clean floors in corridors and other assigned areas.
- Operate a vacuum cleaner.
- Make beds.
- Efficiently dry and wet mop floors in rooms, offices, and public areas.
