About The Position

Under supervision and in accordance with established schedules, procedures, and safety standards, the Environmental Svc Asst II performs housekeeping and service duties to maintain the hospital’s patient, non-patient, and public areas in an orderly, safe, sanitary, and attractive condition.

Requirements

• Able to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• Relevant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and reline waste baskets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary assigned work area at all times.
• Scour and polish sinks, tubs, mirrors, and commodes.
• Assist with soiled linen pick-up.
• Use microfiber and a vacuum cleaner, and/or damp dust ceilings, walls, vents, drapery rods, and other high-touch surfaces.
