About The Position

This position develops and manages programs that engage students, faculty, and staff in campus sustainability initiatives. It furthers a culture of sustainability among all sectors of the diverse campus community. The role involves working with professional staff to support the sustainability programs of other campus departments, workgroups, and councils, as well as collaborative projects involving multiple campus units and students. The position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting sustainability-related data both internally and to external rating organizations. It also participates in the management of existing programs, conducts research into new program areas, and develops program proposals and implements new initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • One (1) year of experience carrying out sustainability programs.
  • Knowledge of the collection, analysis and reporting of sustainability data.
  • Knowledge of the development, implementation and assessment of sustainability programming.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
  • Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
