The EHS Supervisor is responsible for ensuring EHS and Quality compliance at the facility location.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years + EHS consulting or facility EHS in a manufacturing industry preferred
  • Proficiency with computers (specifically Microsoft Office Products)
  • Problem solving skills

  • Valid US State driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety Science
  • Quality program implementation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Health and Safety facility inspections, audits, and training
  • Implementing Health and Safety policy, programs, and procedures
  • Environmental Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Environmental Audits: Perform audits to identify potential areas of improvement and ensure adherence to environmental standards.
  • Permit Applications: Manage environmental permit applications, renewals, and modifications to ensure timely submissions and approvals.
  • Incident Investigation: Respond to and investigate any environmental incidents, spills, or concerns, ensuring proper mitigation and corrective actions are taken.
  • Provides directions to other department supervisors and plant employees regarding health and safety matters
  • Accurate and timely Health and Safety reporting and recordkeeping
  • Occasional travel to EHS training events
  • May be responsible for additional plant operations
  • Participates and contributes to company safety program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
