Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Environmental Superintendent to lead environmental programs at the Carlin Mine. Depending on the selected candidate’s experience and site needs, this role may oversee programs in water and land or air and waste. This position provides leadership and oversight for the site’s environmental compliance responsibilities and permitting needs. The Environmental Superintendent works closely with the Environmental Manager, operational teams, and regional resources to integrate environmental requirements into mine planning and day-to-day operations. The role leads and develops environmental professionals, provides technical and regulatory guidance, supports permitting strategies, and maintains productive relationships with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring strong environmental leadership experience in one or more environmental disciplines, including water, land, air, waste, mine reclamation, or closure, with the ability to manage complex regulatory requirements, develop staff, and collaborate across functions.
