About The Position

TSC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II in Huntsville, AL. This role involves conducting vibration and thermal environmental tests on hardware and electronics assemblies in accordance with program requirements and/or written test procedures. The technician will be responsible for properly handling and processing electronic assemblies using established ESD control practices to prevent foreign object debris/damage (FOD). Key duties include setting up, operating, and maintaining specialized vibration and thermal test equipment, following detailed work instructions and calibration standards. The technician must accurately record, monitor, and review test data and logs to ensure traceability and compliance. This position supports production and quality assurance processes by ensuring all testing procedures are executed correctly and results are thoroughly documented. Collaboration with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams is essential to improve processes, resolve issues, and maintain high quality standards. The role also requires interpreting and working from complex wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and process documentation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2–4 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Understanding of torque requirements, tool usage, and calibration/verification practices.
  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and tools.
  • U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
