Environmental Specialist I, II or III Job Profile Summary Assesses environmental risk, provides recommendation(s) as to the appropriate course of action to address such risk and participate in the implementation of the approved course of action, including development of required regulatory documentation. Coordinates regular environmental planning, scheduling and cost estimating for either OA support or Business Development/Project support. Prepares and submits more complex applications to procure environmental permits, approvals, variances, and other authorizations. Develops and maintains necessary documentation related to environmental compliance programs (in one or all of the following media, Air, Water, Waste, SPCC, Hazardous Materials). Researches governmental and industry standards for compliance requirements. Assists senior level environmental specialists with preparation of environmental reports, plans and inventories for regulatory authorities. Job Description As an Environmental Specialist III, you will need functional and technical expertise and skills in areas of air, water and/or waste. In this role, you will run projects and programs of moderate complexity that require a specialized breadth of expertise.
