About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, improving, and promoting the environmental performance of the mill. The position also leads the day-to-day operation of the Technical Lab to ensure safe, accurate, and timely analyses that support product quality, process control, and environmental compliance. This role is accountable for people leadership in a unionized environment; maintaining lab methods, equipment, and data integrity; and ensuring alignment with our Quality and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in environmental performance and compliance.
• Experience in leading laboratory operations.
• Experience in people leadership, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Knowledge of lab methods, equipment, and data integrity.
• Understanding of Quality and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.
