This role coordinates projects to ensure company operations are in compliance with federal and state fisheries and wildlife regulations and areas of concern. It promotes corporate environmental and sustainability policies by educating and assisting employees to seek innovative ways to ensure operational environmental compliance. The role provides biological and ecological support for collection, analysis, and reporting of scientific data across all parts of the company. It participates in investigations, surveys, and planning for evaluation of company-related activities that may impact the environment. The role also participates in meetings with government regulatory agencies, on required biological, ecological and water quality activities. It designs and implements scientific studies and monitoring plans. The role leads field studies to monitor the effects of Dominion facilities on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems and is responsible for team safety in adverse weather and hazardous working conditions. It assimilates and analyzes data, conducts reviews of related research, and compiles information into scientifically defensible technical reports. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
