To maintain a clean, attractive, and safe hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors through a systematic application of cleaning procedures. This role involves maintaining established orderliness, cleaning, and safety standards, complying with proper patient room cleaning policies, and properly disposing of various types of waste including trash, biohazard/medical waste, and HIPAA information. The position also requires adherence to infection control standards, performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks in different areas of the facility, and documenting performed tasks. The Environmental Services Worker is expected to demonstrate behavior that supports the USC University Hospital mission and attend required training seminars, while also exhibiting respect and positive interpersonal skills as a team player.
