About The Position

Jackson Purchase Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to help maintain clean and sanitary patient rooms and other assigned areas. The role supports patient care by following isolation procedures, replenishing supplies, and keeping carts and equipment clean, functional, and properly stored.

Requirements

• Requires critical-thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous clinical housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Follow policies and procedures for patient isolation.
• Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as needed or designated.
• Maintain carts and equipment in clean, working condition and store them in the appropriate area after the shift.
