To maintain a clean, attractive, and safe hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors through a systematic application of cleaning procedures. This role involves maintaining established orderliness, cleaning, and safety standards, complying with proper patient room cleaning policies, and properly disposing of various types of waste including trash, biohazard/medical waste, and pharmaceutical waste. The position also requires adherence to infection control standards, performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks in different areas of the facility, and reporting items in need of repair. The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for documenting performed tasks, demonstrating behavior that supports the hospital's mission, attending required training, and exhibiting positive interpersonal skills as a team player. Additional duties may be assigned.
