About The Position

The Service Worker – EVS creates a sanitary and safe environment while enhancing the overall appearance of the facility. This role is responsible for cleaning patient rooms and designated areas, maintaining supplies, and ensuring all environmental services procedures and infection control standards are followed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred
• Previous clinical housekeeping experience preferred.
• Critical thinking skills
• Decisive judgment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows policies and procedures regarding patient isolation.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintains carts and equipment in clean, working condition and stores them appropriately at the end of the shift.
• Review and comply with Lifepoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.
