About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The Environmental Services Technician will perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks in accordance with established procedures and standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Previous environmental services or cleaning experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Empty trash and linen receptacles.
• Clean and disinfect floors, walls, and ceilings.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Respond to spills and biohazard situations according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
