About The Position
Housekeepers perform a variety of cleaning duties to help maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive hospital environment. The work focuses on cleaning equipment, fixtures, and furnishings; removing trash and medical waste to designated areas; and stocking expendable sanitary supplies in patient and public areas. Housekeepers also provide moving assistance to hospital departments and set up conference rooms as requested by Conference Services. The role is at Providence St. Peter Hospital and supports a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care.
Responsibilities
- Clean equipment, fixtures, and furnishings.
- Remove trash and medical waste to designated areas.
- Stock expendable sanitary supplies in patient and public areas.
- Provide moving assistance to hospital departments.
- Set up conference rooms as requested by Conference Services.
