About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas of the inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This includes patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and the lobby. The role also involves assisting in maintaining a safe environment by reporting any unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor or the appropriate department, and replenishing necessary supplies such as soap, towels, and toilet tissue.

Requirements

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.

Nice To Haves

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas (patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, lobby area).
• Assisting in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenishing supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
