About The Position

Responsible and accountable for ensuring a safe, clean, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors at all times. The role is in Environmental Services/Housekeeping and is assigned to Surgery. Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but the employer is willing to train an individual with initiative and a desire to learn. This is a safety-sensitive position under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum score of Bronze on the Career Readiness Certification (CRC) certificate preferred.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and work well with others.
• Entry-level computer skills.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods, with frequent reaching, squatting, bending, lifting, and twisting.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or grasp objects and to reach with hands and arms in any direction.
• Ability to push and/or pull cleaning equipment and carts.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds or more using proper body mechanics.
• Keen hearing and visual acuity.
• Ability to handle quick turnaround times and stressful situations efficiently and with composure.
• Ability to tolerate cleaning chemicals.
