About The Position

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere in its inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The role supports patient recovery and visitor satisfaction by cleaning halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms. The schedule is 2 PM–10 PM, Monday through Friday, with alternating weekends. Compensation is $19.30–$24.47 based on experience, plus a shift differential.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospital EVS experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues and needs daily or as needed.
• Keep floors clean and safe by dust mopping and wet mopping as necessary.
• Clean and polish metal trim, furnishings, and equipment; wash walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
• Strip, wax, and buff floors as assigned, following safety precautions.
• Move furniture as requested.
• Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposable items.
