About The Position

Under the direction of the Surgical Services Manager, the Environmental Services Technician is responsible for the general cleanliness of the facility. This person is also responsible for the laundry and linen processing throughout the facility. This position requires customer service skills and good communication. Communicates with the Surgical Services Manager to assist in the development and orientation of new employees. This position may require additional training when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License (if hired to drive)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to teach and instruct new employees

Responsibilities

• General cleanliness of the facility
• Laundry and linen processing throughout the facility
• Assist in the development and orientation of new employees
• Additional training when necessary
