This is a temporary/emergency hire position created to support operational needs. This position is not eligible for employee benefits and employment is expected to be of limited duration based on organizational needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum six (6) months of janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience
- Valid Washington State Driver License, current vehicle liability insurance, and ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work around contagious illnesses, biohazards, and cleaning chemicals
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing patient care areas, offices, common spaces, and restrooms
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, and maintaining floors, carpets, and furniture
- Supporting infection prevention efforts throughout the facility
- Collecting and properly disposing of biohazard materials
- Transporting linens and waste materials
- Stocking restrooms, hand sanitizers, and facility supplies
- Responding to urgent cleaning and sanitation needs
- Maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for patients and visitors
