About The Position
Montclair Hospital Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings. The role may require traveling between facilities without assistance. The technician responds to and initiates communication using phones, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices. The position is per diem with a variable shift.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
Nice To Haves
- One year of knowledge of acute-care hospital environmental services techniques, practices, and procedures is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings.
- Travel between facilities without assistance when required.
- Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, or similar devices.
