The primary function of this role is to provide moving services and meeting room set up services. The technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and aseptic environment for the safety and health of patients, visitors, physicians, and employees. This involves performing various housekeeping duties on an as-needed basis, including waste removal, dusting, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures and surfaces, dust and damp mopping, biohazard spill cleanup, soiled linen removal, cleaning, sanitizing, and making beds, and vacuuming. The role also includes changing drapes and cubicle curtains, and proficiency in the use of floor and carpet care equipment. The technician will be responsible for removing bulk biohazard and solid waste, using computers for training and data collection, and maintaining records and submitting daily activity reports. All other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
