About The Position
Seeking an Environmental Services Technician II/Housekeeping for a Full-Time, 1st Shift position. This role is responsible for executing daily duties to maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. The EVS Tech will interact with patients, visitors, and staff, providing care that is appropriate to the demographics served. A key responsibility is ensuring timely room turnovers related to patient throughput, adhering to principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The technician is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and patient experience, upholding organizational standards of quality.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- High School or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of Customer Service experience
- 1-2 years of Hospitality experience
- 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience
Responsibilities
- Executing daily duties to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.
- Having contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff, with contact being appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served.
- Ensuring timely room turns related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention.
- Cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and contributing to patient experience in accordance with organizational standards of quality.
