About The Position
The Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to join their team. This role will be instrumental in setting a new standard for residential care at their new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth. The facility is currently under construction on a 258-acre campus in Idaho’s Treasure Valley. The Idaho Youth Ranch is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit and a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in housekeeping/janitorial work
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Knows and implements the correct level of cleaning (cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting) for all RCHR areas.
- Demonstrates proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor-saving products for all items within the specialty areas tasked with servicing.
- Adheres to all organizational safety, risk management and infection control standards; promotes a culture of safety.
- Recognize safety hazards and acting – wiping up spills, keep areas uncluttered.
