About The Position

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-minded Environmental Services Tech to join our team at Hillcrest Shadow Lake.   • Must be able to use cleaning equipment, supplies, and available technology safely and effectively.
  • Must follow established infection-control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Must be available to work an every-other-weekend rotation.
  • Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals, communicable diseases, and bodily fluids.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, healthcare, or similar experience preferred.
  • Experience working in senior living, healthcare, or a service-focused environment is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout assigned areas.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and extract flooring as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms daily.
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms on a consistent schedule.
  • Keep neighborhoods, hallways, and common areas clean and inviting.
  • Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Deliver personal clothing to the laundry area and return clean clothing to residents.
  • Ensure resident clothing is labeled according to established procedures.
  • Clean and stock offices, clinics, and other assigned areas.
  • Complete deep cleaning of resident rooms during transitions and as needed.
  • Keep hand sanitizer stations stocked and ready for use.
  • Assist with resident room transfers and mattress changes.
  • Monitor supplies and communicate when additional items are needed.
  • Respond to cleaning needs promptly and professionally.
  • Support other departments and areas when needed.
  • Jump in wherever needed to help keep the community looking and feeling its best.
