About The Position

Responsible to clean & maintain an assigned area. Performs a variety of environmental services duties in and around the medical center to maintain a neat, orderly, sanitary and safe environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a health care facility preferred.
• Have some working knowledge of operations and control of electrical equipment and safety.
• Must be able to get along with others, accept instructions and suggestions.
• Must be able to comprehend and absorb new work methods.
• Must be able to do math calculations to the degree required by job duties.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., carry items of 25 lbs., push carts up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to perform frequent pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting and reaching.
• Job requires extensive standing and walking.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
