As Team Lead, you will work to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect by ensuring all assigned facility areas are clean, fully stocked and organized. Your efforts help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and assist other caregivers in providing attentive patient care. A caregiver in this role works nights from 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with every third weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks
  • One year of experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct general training and orientation for new caregivers in floor care, wall washing, carpet cleaning and special procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure resource availability and reassign schedules as needed.
  • Inform supervisor of performance concerns and policy violations.
  • Collaborate with Environmental Services Team Leads and management to maintain a sanitary, safe environment.
  • Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
  • Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation.
  • Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
  • Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
