About The Position

The Environmental Services Supervisor assists the Director with the daily operations of the Environmental Services department. As an “ Environmental Services Supervisor ” you will: Supervises and coordinates colleagues. Ensures that the hospital and other designated areas are maintained in a clean, sanitized and attractive condition. Works closely with Infection Control, Materials Management and Plant Operations.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• 2-4 years-experience in housekeeping/environmental services, hospital or health-care experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have demonstrated capabilities to manage and lead a team
• Must have ability to prioritize staffing needs
• Must be self-directed, organized and possess leadership qualities.
• Must be capable of prioritizing and completing duties in a timely manner
• Must be self-directed, organized and able to work independently
• Must have ability to adjust to changing healthcare designs
• Must be able to work well under time constraints
• Must have computer knowledge using spread sheets and word processing software

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• hospital or health-care experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
