About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 2nd Shift. Hours are from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Monday through Friday with alternating on-call, weekends and holidays. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to: Help make an impact on patient care by leading our remarkable Environmental Services team as they play a critical role in preventing infection. Plan, direct and assign the work to be completed by the environmental services technicians, seniors and environmental services floor care technicians. Document completion of work through daily productivity reports. Complete inspections, rounding, documentation and regular meetings with other departments to ensure quality of work.

Requirements

• No minimum education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years previous supervisory or lead role experience in a large organization
• Hazardous waste awareness certificate within 1 Year

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of EVS or Leadership experience.
• 5 years previous supervisory experience at an acute health care facility
