About The Position

The EVS department supports new hires with hands-on training through a two-week orientation period, no prior experience required. As an Environmental Services (EVS) representative, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess. EVS Department Roles include Housekeeper – Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting, Floor Care Rep. – Clean and maintain floors, Waste Processor – Transport waste to collection and/or disposal points, and Project Worker – Furniture movement, set up events, UV light operation.

Requirements

• No prior experience required.
• Full-time and Part-time employees must work every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and common areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining floors.
• Transporting waste to collection and/or disposal points.
• Furniture movement, event setup, and UV light operation.
