About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for its Environmental Services Department. The mission of OCH is to provide exceptional healthcare and preventive services with compassion, respect, and dignity, focusing on the underserved and improving access to care. The Environmental Services Manager, reporting to the Director of Safety Operations, is responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness of the facility, overseeing laundry and linen processing, and possessing strong customer service and communication skills. This role involves researching problems, recommending improvements, training EVS personnel, and participating in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to teach and instruct new employees.

Nice To Haves

• Management or supervisory experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general cleanliness of the facility.
• Overseeing of the laundry and linen processing throughout the facility.
• Participates in researching problem issues and assists in recommendations for improvement.
• Provides training for other EVS personnel.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
