As an Environmental Services Manager, you willspearhead Environmental Services within our Nashville, Tennessee office. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating with other managers and team leaders, managing projects, and engaging in business development activities to maintain and grow client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience conducting and managing environmental projects.
- Demonstrated successful team leadership and management with a good understanding of safety policies/procedures, quality, business metrics, human resources policies/procedures, and risk management concepts
- Excellent communication skills with clients, staff, and regulatory personnel
- Effective technical, project management, client management, and business development
Nice To Haves
- TN Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist license preferred
- Additional environmental certifications/accreditations are a plus
Responsibilities
- Staff supervision, training, mentoring, and coaching of employees.
- Meeting objectives in safety, quality, human resources, finances, and risk management
- Staffing projects with appropriately trained and certified personnel, maximizing staff utilization and project profitability.
- Serves as a Community Leader, partnering with other office leaders to give S&ME visibility in the community and professional organizations.
- Coordinates with project managers and leaders/project managers in other services regarding potential opportunities and supports them with resources needed to win and complete projects.
