About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility. The position includes a structured, paid 12-week training program with hands-on and computer-based training to prepare the employee to manage environmental services in a healthcare setting. HCSG describes its work as positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
- Computer skills, including the ability to maintain records and complete required reports, including web-based reporting.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
- Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal and state requirements.
- Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
- Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
- Act as a liaison between building occupants and administrators and HCSG staff, communicating directives effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
