About The Position

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training (MIT). This role is designed to prepare individuals for future leadership positions within the support services team. Through this program, trainees will learn best practices in operations management, safety, quality control, housekeeping, hiring, training, payroll, and profit and loss management. The MIT will be assigned to a training location for hands-on learning as part of Compass Group’s Accelerated Manager Program (AMP). Upon successful completion of AMP, relocation within the assigned region may be required for placement opportunities. Placement into a full-time management position is based on performance and business need and is not guaranteed. The program can be completed in 12 weeks or more.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Associate Degree received by May 2027 or prior
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with peers, employees, clients, and customers
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Basic understanding of contract administration and client relations
Basic knowledge of operating and maintenance instructions, safety regulations, codes and use of departmental policy and procedure manuals
Mechanical inclination
Competency in all Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to relocate for the right role or advancement opportunity

Nice To Haves

One year of customer service or related work or internship experience
Demonstrated financial acumen including profit and loss management, inventory, and cash handling skills
Driver’s License (required for transportation roles)

Responsibilities

Learn best practices of Compass Group sector.
Facilitate best practices in areas such as operations management, safety, quality control, housekeeping, hiring, training, payroll, and profit and loss.
Complete on-site, hands-on learning at an assigned training location.
Participate in Compass Group’s Accelerated Manager Program (AMP).
Undergo competency-based assessment to identify leadership strengths and development opportunities.
Engage in a custom-built, personalized learning path with experiential learning, micro-courses, and simulations.
Participate in one-on-one peer support and mentorship.
Receive 360° evaluation of progress and development.
Potentially take on managerial assignments in operational areas such as Environmental Services Management upon completion of AMP.
