About The Position

Christian Health has been providing exceptional care for over a century. We are seeking a part-time Environmental Services/Housekeeping Tech II for our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in The Vista. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff. Duties include dusting, trash removal, bathroom cleaning, floor mopping, care of wood floor surfaces, transporting garbage, moving furniture, and project work such as window washing. The position requires demonstrating an understanding of and embracing the mission statement of Christian Health.

Requirements

None required.
Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.
Experience in hard and soft floor care preferred.

Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Dusts, removes trash from rooms, cleans bathrooms and mops floors.
Responsible for the care of soft and hard wood floor surfaces.
Transports garbage and recycling.
Moves furniture and completes a variety of project work such as window washing.
Burnishes using a 20 inch hi-speed machine up to 1,000 square feet at one time.
Vacuums carpet with upright vacuum (weight 20 pounds).
Dust mops and wet mops floors.
Visually inspects work for quality completion.
Maintains chemicals in proper containers and uses chemicals as labels specify.
Shampoos using a 20 inch roto up to 15,000 square feet at one time.
Delivers supplies with the aide of a dolly.
Moves beds with the aide of a desk lifter.
Washes walls and windows.
While in a resident room or resident care area, observes and immediately reports to Charge Nurse any resident needs, resident incidents or clinical equipment in need of adjustment or repair.
