About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin and help keep UW Health hospitals and clinics safe for patients, visitors and staff. We are seeking a Environmental Services Floor Technician to perform floor care responsibilities in protecting and preserving of floor surfaces to maintaining appropriate appearance and cleanliness. This role will perform maintenance, upkeep, and restoration of all floor types within the organization. Additionally, the technician will perform a wide variety of duties including cleaning and disinfecting UW Health facilities, utilizing proper procedures, equipment, and cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe environment for all patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

• Ability to be insured by Hospital’s risk management insurer which requires (1) a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and (2) successfully passing a driving background check Required

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
• Previous cleaning and/or customer service experience Preferred
• 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer Preferred

Responsibilities
