About The Position
The Environmental Services Facility Attendant (Housekeeper) is a full-time position responsible for cleaning assigned patient rooms and bathrooms according to Infection Control standards. This role also involves cleaning nurse’s stations, public bathrooms, lounges, nourishment areas, and storage closets. The attendant must be able to perform various cleaning projects as assigned by their supervisor.
Requirements
- Must possess visual acuity for cleanliness.
- Work involves bending, walking, lifting and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous health care housekeeping experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning of assigned patient rooms and bathrooms according to Infection Control standards.
- Cleaning of nurse’s stations, public bathrooms, Lounges, nourishment areas and storage closets.
- Perform varied cleaning projects that will be assigned by their immediate supervisor.
