About The Position
The Environmental Services Director is responsible for overseeing the environmental service department, which includes housekeeping, laundry, plant operations, and maintenance. This role involves managing the department's staff, budget, and strategic planning for the community. Additionally, the director oversees maintenance, general repairs, and construction work to the facility and general repairs to residents’ equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license as appropriate and acceptable driving record that meets BHS requirements.
- Two (2) years of building maintenance experience.
- Possess or have ability to obtain a minimum of a Special boiler’s license for campuses utilizing boilers
- Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree in the Building Maintenance field
- Previous experience in a health care setting
- Five (5) years of manager experience.
Responsibilities
