Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 3
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 3 for a healthcare account in Boston, MA at Tufts Medical Center. This position will report to the General Manager and oversee housekeeping with a team of 50 on the 1st shift (approx 6:30AM-4PMish) with some weekends and holidays. Tufts Medical Center is a 415-bed academic medical center. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Requirements
- Experience leading and managing a team
- A leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a healthcare housekeeping system
- Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
- Can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management
- Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
- Results and safety driven
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years Minimum Management Experience
- 3 years Minimum Functional Experience of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Work closely with the Infectious Control department
- Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director
- Effectively manages the Unit Operating System
